Punishment in the Grave for Failing to Help the Oppressed

Image
Will Those Who Do Not Help the Oppressed Be Punished in Their Grave? The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A servant of Allah was ordered to be struck in his grave with a hundred lashes, but he kept asking and praying until it became one lash. His grave was filled with fire. When it was lifted and he regained his senses, he asked: 'Why did you strike me?' What is the Islamic stance on this matter? Answer: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. From my observation of the words and positions of the advocates of energy healing and what has been said about them, they are, in the religion of Allah, considered heretics and disbelievers. They appear to embrace both disbelief and faith simultaneously. They display disbelief, atheism, and polytheism; and when the proof is established against them, or when their blatant heresy and disbelief are pointed out, they deny it and claim to be Muslims and believers. This is their pattern—whenever they are confronted with their disbelief and polytheism, they deny it and claim to be Muslims and...
