The Tactics of Satan in Deceiving the Believers
"And Satan whispered to him, he said: 'O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of immortality and a kingdom that will never decay?'" (Taha: 120). This tree was like any other tree; it had nothing that distinguished it from the other trees of Paradise, except that it was forbidden to eat from it. In Paradise, there are many trees, fruits, and blessings far better than it. Therefore, it was not something that could attract Adam, especially with Allah’s prohibition from eating from it.
